"You are invited to post your part of the journey on the 9th! What would you take, what would you wear, what adventures would you have on board? Who would you travel with, where would you stop for sightseeing and activities? Will there be drama...suspense.......a (horrors!) a murder to solve???? Will we be derailed by an avalanche? Will mysterious people board at our many stops? Will jewels disappear? What will you order from the exotic menu? You decide!"
*
Visit her blog and I dare you not to want to come! I always love a party!! Leave a message at Muse's link above so we can all visit one another that day. I'll be visiting Chachaneed in a private car near the lounge.... join us for a game of cards and a glass or two of champagne! Hope to see you there ...

Dahling, so glad you can join us! Has your new pair of gloves and plume hat that you ordered arrived yet? I hope they have enough room for all our trunks and hat boxes! ha ha
Perhaps... it can be *tossed* in a box of dishes and *discovered* accidently. Thus, I will bake, not share, memorizing the recipe so that it goes to the grave with me. :)
I'm having a terrible time with my hat boxes! I have a most beautiful tea time gown, but according to tradition, evidently it can only be worn in my quarters LOL..what is the use of that, I ask.
Please do read on muse's comments today ... ;)
I was intending to purposely put the recipe into the tea set box! You may pass it down to your daughter if she is one who would like it rather than a premade cookie from Oreo. :) No need to go to your death with it!
So I get a call at dinner time a few days ago from a totally excited Janeen, rambling on about checking my email cause she sent me pictures of some dishes a lovely person named Karna is giving her. So excited was she, and then I, that my DH was like, "What's going on with you two" . Lovely, lovely dishes. We so love our tea parties.....Watch for my Breakfast at Tiffany's tea pictures after next Sunday.
I am waiting for everyone at the Gare de l'Est train station in Paris.. I'm patiently sipping my cafe au lait!
I am ever so glad you are finally aboard after the hat box fiasco. Ooohhhh a "tea gown"! Henri said you stopped by and purchased a little confection just yesterday. If you got past Marie and her "passport checking" side-business we are on our way! Meet us for tea in the Pullman car.
We're on board, waiting for you! Do you grab your suitcases and climb aboard. Have some champagne and caviar (I don't like the taste of that much) and watch out! Mssr. Poirot is aboard and the game's afoot!
Kat
Yes, there's a murder! Ian Fleming has contacted James Bond while Hurcule Poirot is investigating. It's seems we're all suspect. With our jewels, poise and beautfy we are the pefect femme fatalles to help solve the mystery, don't you think?
Hopefully, it won't take away from all the lush dining, relaxing, and breathtaking views!
Oh Dahling, where could you be? Did you receive my note that the train boards at 7 am, not 7 pm. I shall check back later...
Dahlink we await your alibi--er..I mean arrival...on the Orient Express!
Where are you?
Karna, my lush bed is beckoning, but before I turn in, I wanted to say thank you for making the adventure on the Orient Express a memorable one! Although Monsieur Poirot is still up solving the murder, it may have been the coffin which slipped off the train.
Will have to check back with Muse.
Night, night, Karna, but keep the lights on! ;)
Darn, your post didn't come up today. Bummer! OH well, next time. It's so much funner to be experiencing all the comments "live" anyway and chatting back and forth. I'm whooped. I think we burned a few WI-FI's today. ha ha
